The January 2016 Leisure League division one was the second in Beercelona's history. The team finished the season with five points, four better than the season before. Both the goals scored and the goals conceded were much improved from the season before. This is the only season so far that hasn't held an El Classico. It's also remembered for the first time a player registered double figures in a season for goals (eleven Andrew Butt) a feat that would go unmatched until Matthew Gibson scored ten in season five.
The squad was streamlined from the first season, with a player pool down to ten from fourteen the season before. Numbers were further depleted with injuries to Conor Murdoch (ankle), Connor Hall (ankle) and Squibbs (broken toe), Hannah (calf and hamstring) and Buczman (ACL) struggling through the season also. Nevertheless the team managed to bag their first result on January 20th 2016 against No New Players Needed, following it up with two wins against Polk FC and a tough draw in Buczman's final game against America. Mackenzie Sanborn made his debut in week two of the season, deputizing for the injured Squibbs.
Andy Butt and Leon Elliot played every game, with Elliot picking up the double award of Player of the Year and Fan's Player of the Year. Butt scooped the top scorer award with a still present Beercelona record of eleven. Ryan Buczman's sensational equalizer in the final game of his contract was voted goal of the season. David Sergison led the team in assists, creating five of the teams eighteen goals.
