Mackenzie Sanborn (B.?) is an American Footballer currently playing for Beercelona. Originally signed as a goalkeeper he has developed into a left sided defender and at times has been deployed as a holding midfielder.

Early Life[]

Sanborn started his career quite early at the Manchester Youth Academy located in CT. There he was taught all about the beautiful game and how to make it his own. From age 5-10, he worked his way up the ranks of the academy where his powerful left shot came to surprise coaches and players alike. Soon after he was picked up by yet another local team, Manchester Blitz.

Beercelona[]

Sanborn was signed a few games into the second season at the start of 2016 for an undisclosed fee. He played his first game on January 14th, deputizing in goal for the injured Stephen Squibbs who was out with a broken toe. That season "Mack," played seven goals, used both in goal and outfield including a man of the match display during the teams first ever win against No New Player's Needed.

Season three saw Mack deployed as a center back more often than not, a position he made his own after Connor Hall suffered ankle ligament damage. He racked up 12 appearances and walked away with the Player of the Season Award for helping the team concede it's lowest total to date up until that point.

In season four Mack was ever present, turning out in eight games, and again in the fifth season he played in nine fixtures taking him to fourth in the all time appearance list.

The sixth season has seen Sanborn's playing time curtailed by work commitments, although he is scheduled to make appearances intermittently throughout the campaign.

Mack is renowned for his pinpoint left foot and aggression. He is yet to register a first team goal, although has scored for sister side Cervezelona.
